Last week’s host was @Lowdowncryptic and here’s his summary of the results.

We had 21 clues this week. Two participants failed to vote (10-point penalty) and nine non-participants voted (Abhay, Bhalchandra, Dallas, Lakshmi, Madhup, Mahesh, Nathan, Ramesh, and Ratna).

Very close competition between the top finishers…

In 5th place, we have Suyash Roongta with 20 points:

Shooting up with a needle in limb

In 4th place, it’s Ramki Krishnan with 21 points for a somewhat similar clue:

Jumping as a needle is injected into part of body

Ganesh Raman takes bronze with 23 points:

Alpine glacier’s beginning to melt – it’s plunging

And we have a tie for 1st place: two clues that both received 25 points from 14 voters!

One is a tricky entry from Sowmya Ramkumar:

Skipping rum, gin and ale, drinks Pepsi, essentially

The other is a concise corker from Veera Raghavan:

Jumping rekindled leg pain

Veera can “jump” at the chance to host this week and Sowmya will “skip” it.

Congrats to all and over to you, Veera!

SR: Congrats Veera. Our clues are now in our HALL OF FAME. Thanks for the diligent hosting Larry.
