This Movie XWordle is inspired by #Wordle, the Viral word game that’s taken social media and cruciverbalists by storm.

I call it XWordle because it is a combination of a Crossword with a Wordle.

Instructions

All the solution words are names of Hollywood movies.

You can get the answer by either solving the cryptic clue or the pictorial clue or both

The color coding works just like in #Wordle. The Yellow squares indicate tha letters in the answer which are in the wrong position. The Green squares indicate the letters in right position.

Using these hints from the first five answer words, you need to arrive at the final wordle which is also a movie name.

Please put the answer to the Wordle in the comments below. I will announce the names of all those who get it correct in the blog.

  1. Who knew imagery could be embedded like this? Where can we get specs on how to produce these puzzles?

    1. It was created with the Puzzle Me platform at Amuselabs. It is a very flexible software that supports many types and formats of puzzles.
