As promised, the 1AC Gridfest is here. Although, we had 28 registered participants, in the end, only 13 entries have been received from participants.
These are going to be evaluated by our judging panel of Heidi Schroeder, Ramki Krishnan and Vinod Raman, based on a number
of criteria that they are working on.
Starting from tomorrow, 15th September, the grids are going to be posted daily in the blog at 9 am India time. They will be up for solving on our interactive website and can be submitted to us over the next two weeks.
All participants can choose to solve them either as soon as they are posted, or over the next few days, so that we can accommodate those who can’t get to it immediately.
No entries can be submitted after midnight, IST on 30th of September.
The grids will then be posted for solving and annotations / discussions in the facebook group, one per each day starting from Oct 1st.
Daily leaderboards based on the submitted entries will also be posted starting then.
The results announcing the best grid and the top solvers will be made on 15th October.
Both the winners (top setter and the top solver) will receive a personalized copy of our book “Cryptic Crossroads”.
