Hey, the March of April is over. It’s the first of May. May be time to dance around a maypole near Maidstone with the May Queen, who’s perhaps wearing common hawthorn flowers. Or perhaps go for a May Day Run. It’s also Labour Day for those who prefer to call it that.

This puzzle from “The Oracle” has some Mayday messages thrown around in it.

Try spotting them …

It’s time to strap on your Mae Wests and dive in.

All those who submit all correct entries (including answers to the questions at the end of the puzzle) have a chance to enter our “Hall of Fame”

The puzzle will be open for solving until midnight IST of Saturday 6th May. It will be discussed at 1ACross on Sunday 7th May and the results will be announced in the blog on the same day.

Happy solving.

  1. Simple but tricky crossie, with the signature style of Kishore !! Enjoyed doing it. But as I am not good at spotting hidden agenda, of Mayday messages, I have not bothered to attempt.
