Ian VanderSchee (aka Mathrix) was born in Canada and lives in the United States. He teaches high school mathematics, presents at educational conferences, and leads mathematics workshops in the United States and Canada.
Ian has been setting crosswords for 1Across since 2020. His grid entitled, “From Point A to Point B” appears in Cryptic Crossroads Vol. 3, published in 2021. Long before that, Ian published weekly cryptic crosswords in his hometown newspaper, the Orono Weekly Times.
