This week’s contest was hosted by Ganesh Raman and here’s his summary of the results.


Kudos to all participants, as we closed this week with a solid 34 clues.

In 5th place, we have a tie between Ramki Krishnan with “Countries bombing borders at war is typical” and Gayathri Viswanath with “It is ordinary but popular in a way”, each with 18 points.

In 4th place, Brian Kogler gets 20 points for “General practitioner, out in emergency wards”.

And now onto the podium finishers:

Manish Jhaveri takes the 3rd position with 21 points for “Star out in expensive clothes everyday”.
Suyash Roongta finishes as the runner-up with 23 points for “Complicated in utero procedure”.

And…

Saurabh Upadhyay gets top honours with 25 points for “Predictable loss at home against England”

SR: Thanks for the terrific hosting Ganesh. Nice to see great participation both during setting and voting. Some really fine clues and it was hard to choose just a few. A warm welcome to first time participants and hope to see you around in the next contests as well. A couple of participants did not vote this time. Request all folks to follow the rules of the contest.

Congrats to Saurabh. His clue will be featured in our HALL OF FAME.
