Textrous hosted last week and here’s his summary of the results.

This contest saw participation from 20 cluers and 21 voters. All in all, a decent start to the new year.

Now on to the results.

At 5th position, with 14 points each, we have a tie between @qpheever and @LowdownCryptic for “Scattered fragments of tin, etc., all over the place” and “Without praise, a perfectionist sorted papers to be chucked” respectively

At 3rd position, with 15 points apiece, we again have a tie, this time between Sowmya Ramkumar and Ramki Krishnan, for “Time to dance with nice fellow in bridal shower!” and “Pieces of paper scattered often in traditional celebrations, basically” respectively

At 2nd position is N Anantakrishnan, with 25 points for the delightful &Lit “Often it is scattered after beginning of celebrations”

And the clear winner, with a whopping 32 points, is Sitter, for another creative &Lit “It often gets thrown by entrance to church”
