Happy Anniversary to 1 Across. We are celebrating this with a jumbo grid, our fifteenth grid for this season, titled “Celebration & Cerebration”.

The completed grid has a thematic entry (1 word).

Note: Ganesh Nayak who set one of the clues in this grid, sadly passed away just a few days ago. We had interacted over his clue in the grid and he has always been among the first to volunteer for 1ACross community grids. He has also had puzzles published in our Cryptic Crossroads collections. He was a dear friend and a great human being. We will miss him :(.

Answers can be submitted by anyone who wishes to participate, on or before EOD Friday, 30th August 2024. All those who submit entries have a chance to enter our leader board for 2024.

Annotations for the puzzle will be posted in the blog on Saturday, August 31st, 2024.

Happy to share that three special prizes (book or cash vouchers of INR 1000 each), will be awarded for the following:

1. First all correct entry
2. Lucky prize – for one person selected by lots from the all correct entries
3. Prize for the setter whose clue gets the most votes (if multiple setters poll the same votes, one will be chosen by lots)
