Suyash Roongta hosted last week and here’s his summary of the results.

Thank you all for participating in this contest. This might have been a tricky word to clue (as reflected in the lower than usual entries) but we had some great clues. And a real close race for the top spot (the lead must have changed hands half a dozen times). So without further ado, here are the results –

In Fifth place with 19 points is Gayathri Viswanath with ‘Disconnect phone call and block (4,2)’

In Fourth place with 23 points is @LowdownCryptic with ‘Close call: almost had new dog sent back (4,2)’

In Third place with 27 points is Ramki Krishnan with ‘Finally ditch a person stalking you nonstop – disconnect phone (4,2)’

In a very close Second place with 30 points is Textrous with ‘Husband cracked a good pun to wrap up a phone call’

Our winner this week with 31 points is Samit kallianpur with ‘Henry called….and right away, cut the call! (4,2)’

SR: Thanks for the great hosting, Suyash. Congrats Samit. Your clue is now in our HALL OF FAME.
