Samit was our host and here’s his summary of the results. (Thanks for the diligent hosting in spite of travelling this week. A short and simple word but some really good clues in the mix this time. My Pathaan didn’t fare as well as the movie though  – SR).

Good morning everyone! Here are the results!

Firstly, thanks to all for taking part in this week’s contest – for cluing and voting! Special thanks to Sowmya Ramkumar!

We got to see a wide variety of clues in this contest! There were 35 clues, and 38 voters. Sadly, one setter didn’t vote..

It was a close finish, with the top 3 clues being separated by only 1 point each!

In 5th place, with 19 points we have Raj Jayaram:

“Design Engineering: Part Ten”

In 4th place, with 21 points, is Rhiannon Vivian-Bolt:

“Speak to the wrens regularly, it’s a habit”

In 3rd place with 25 points, we have Ratna Rao:

“Design apartment perhaps, without any modifications at first”

In 2nd place, with 26 points is Saurabh Upahyay:

“Plan to capture prime locations in a partitioned reign”

The 1st place, with 27 points goes to Satyen Nabar (and a topless model):

“Model, say, going topless – enthralled by pot”

Congratulations also to drcheruvarun (6th), Suyash Roongta (7th), Venkatesan P (8th), Ramesh Swaminathan (9th), Ganesh Raman and Ramki (10th)!
