We witnessed enthusiastic participation this week. Thanks to all who submitted their clues and voted
It was a close contest all the way through and topical clues prevailed to take the podium.

The winner of this round is Sparsh Sinha with a whopping 45 points for his acrostic
For starters, Federer and Rafa’s encounter was epic ! Lovely last act of departure (8)

At second place is another Federer clue from Manish Jhaveri, with 37 points
All were shattered after start of Federer’s retirement [8]

In the third place is the clue from Venkatesan P that got 35 points
We’re all unhappy after family head’s departure(8)

In fourth place is Avtaar’s clue with 29 points
High reef wall is so long (8)

In fifth place with 26 points is Diogeneb’s clue
Were bats in decline for so long? (8)
