While there were a host of clues to choose from (and many of the hosts were hidden), a regular host on this forum absolutely ran away with the top honours with her succinct telescopic clue.

The second place was a tie at 32 points each Tejas Siddharth – The organiser of those endless parties.

And Madhusudhan’s acrostic
Anantakrishnan has often secured the top spots

Again after a gap the next two positions were tied at 25 points between

Sree Sree’s polite query – Who’s the lodging manager?
And

Anand Ranganathan’s – Section of WHO studying infected organism.
