3 Turkish pastry broke off (5)
BOREK
BOREK: BROKE*
4 Energy behind second rice cake (5)
MOCHI

5 Bear eats you finally for a spicy dish (5)
CURRY

6 The Final XWordle

After solving the individual clues, these answers needed to be placed in the Grid correctly as below.

The grid had letter hints to help slot the answers. For eg, the pink E indicated, only an answer with E in the 4th position could be in Place 1 (narrrowing down to either BOREK or RAMEN).  The Pink R, indicated, CURRY or BOREK had to be in the 2nd spot and so on. So, you had to solve the puzzle like a logic game to arrive at the correct spots for the answers. After doing that, you had to use the letters in Wordle colors, to find the correct answer which was “BACON”.

37 Chris Evans I didn’t get the answer in 5 – enjoyed the swap in CARRY -> CURRY; and people following God for food is incredibly vague! (Though I love the imagery)
38 Nicholas Loader Another awesome puzzle! Great title, excellent wordplay all round 🙂 Favourite clue of course is #5, hilarious 😀 Best clue in Xwordle so far imo. Favourite wordplay was for MOCHI and loved the surfaces in 1, 2 and 5. Loved the vocabulary of a food like BOREK. Still fairly easy overall, possibly got lucky deciding to try BOREK up the top first of all but yeah, still feel it could be slightly harder. One day I’ll be up all night trying to solve it and finally regret constantly asking for the difficulty to be increased, until then, though… make it spicier please 😉
39 Veera Raghavan Challenging and interesting puzzle.
40 Liari
41 Ashit Hegde Great puzzle. Getting tougher ( That’s the way I like it)
42 Amrita Majumdar
43 Usha Dronamraju good one!
44 Krishnan Anantheshwaran The Xwordle part seemed somewhat easier than before but the clues were harder. Needed to cheat by revealing the picture to one clue.
45 Maya Sharma A nice one.
46 Lakshmi Vaidyanathan Nice puzzle.
47 Sohil Bhagat
48 Max Jackson
