We had  28 responses to yesterday’s clue and 27 people managed to register their right answers in the blog, way below our current record of 42.

The Clue was “Doubtful as to its truth, ultimately? (2,2,2)”.

The Answer was “IS THAT SO”.  The solution is an anagram of AS TO ITS and H (Truth – ultimately – indicating the last letter). The anagram indicator is “Doubtful”.

This is a (Semi) &Lit clue since the entire clue read together also provides the definition.
