Enjoy this special puzzle from “The Oracle

The puzzle has a number of words linked to a theme.. Try to spot the theme and answer the questions at the end of the puzzle..

In order to complete the submission successfully, please follow BOTH of these steps

(1) Complete the online interactive version and submit it along with answers to the questions that will be displayed on submission
(2) Email a Screenshot of the completed grid to 1acrossgp@gmail.com

Please remember to “save” the puzzle as you work, so as to answer the questions at the end.

The deadline for submissions is midnight ( IST) on Monday 26th of June 2017.  Annotations for the puzzle will be discussed at 1ACross on Tuesday 27th June and the results will be announced in the blog on 2nd July.

All those who submit all correct entries (including answers to the questions at the end of the puzzle) have a chance to earn points on the leaderboard in our “Hall of Fame“.

Based on our regular reader Vinayak’s suggestion, on a trial basis, the winner of this contest will be chosen at random from among the all correct entries, so late entrants also have a chance to win. The winner will be awarded 2 points on the leaderboard and all other HOF entrants will get 1 point each.
