This Crossword, by “The Oracle“, is a special themed puzzle and it displays a map of the scene of events it commemorates. As you complete the puzzle, you should be able to unravel this theme as well.
Submissions process
In order to complete the submission successfully, please follow BOTH of these steps
(1) Complete the online interactive version and submit it along with answers to the questions that will be displayed on submission
(2) Email a Screenshot of the completed grid to 1acrossgp@gmail.com
Please remember to “save” the puzzle as you work, so as to answer the questions at the end.
The deadline for submissions is midnight ( IST) on Monday 5th of June 2017. Results will be declared and annotations discussed at 1ACross on the 6th of June 2017.
The first all correct entry (including responses to the questionnaire) will be declared the winner. The time of receipt of the Email will be used to determine the order of entries received.
We are delighted to announce that the winner will receive an autographed copy of fellow cruciverbalist and author Debbie Manber Kupfer’s book of puzzles, “Paws4Logic“, that was co-authored with her son Joey Kupfer.
If the winner is outside the US, due to the high costs of shipping, Debbie would be happy to provide a printable Ebook and a personalized note instead.
Names of all who submit fully correct entries will go in to our Hall of fame. Our decision will be final and binding.
Please refrain from discussions on the puzzle until the submission deadline, as this would automatically disqualify you from the contest
So do you dare to join us for the “Double Dare”?
